Starting from December 13, foods and food supplements exported by Serbian businesses to the markets of the European Union (EU) will have be labeled in full compliance with the new EU Regulation 1169/2011 on the provision of food information to consumers.

In 2013, the EU member countries issued 19 announcements and warnings, through the RASFF (Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed), regarding goods originating from Serbia, and two reports since the start of this year.
